The lush hay grounds of this 40-acre section of Sunderland Ranch sweep into the perfect mountain backdrop. Are you dreaming of white tents for a larger group or a more romantic indoor setting for an intimate wedding? This is a perfect space for you to entertain, host and make memories.
The outdoor gardens overlooking the hayfield are ready for your tent or open-air wedding. Our lawns and gardens will be groomed prepared for your event.
Tent, chairs, and tables are available to rent at additional cost. Guests are welcome to bring in additional flowers and other decorations as desired.

My now husband and I eloped in Alaska his past summer, August 2021, and wanted to incorporate some fun adventures for our special day. One of these adventures included horseback ride in the mountains at Sunderland Ranch. Katie and her entire team were so helpful and accommodating from the minute I first contacted them about setting up an evening ride, later then their normal business hours, for optimal lighting and photography. The whole team was very friendly and knowledgeable about the horses and how to go about introducing them to my wedding dress, so they didn’t’ freak out. My husband also had never ridden a horse before and was slightly apprehensive, the team helped him to feel comfortable and we ended up having the best time and have photos that we will cherish for a lifetime. Our Legacy Log home sits high on the hayfield with gardens and landscaping bordering into the sweeping fields. Your unobstructed view of Red and lazy Mountain, as well as part of the Chugiak range, will make for the perfect backdrop for your photography. A balanced mix of rustic outdoorsy feels and warm logs mingle with elegant touches. Our log home can sleep up to 10 comfortably with three full bathrooms. Our 600ft. Bridal Suite with full 9-foot windows and views for miles will take your breath away. Full deep soaker tub and separate steam shower for a luxurious soak after your big day. Wake up to brew coffee in our gourmet kitchen. Log Home can be added to your package.
Fancy a wedding with horses and a full barn? Allow us to help you turn your cowboy wedding into a reality. Our 80 x 100-foot barn is the perfect space to accommodate your guest list of 80. Bathrooms are on-site in the barn. Dance the night away with twinkle lights and space for a great band.
